A surprisingly original vampire flick. Plenty of gore, well made with a fantastic premise. It owes a little to 28 Days Later but personally I found it superior. Here they at least allowed us to see the horror.
There's some great visuals and excellent sound design and score. The story totally worked although I suppose the characters could have been a little more fleshed out. I liked them but they were a little thin.
Still, for vampire fans, this movie holds a unique place. A nice companion-piece to Near Dark.
