Review of 30 Days of Night (2007) by Jessica-Samuel M — 23 Oct 2012
This movie was very refreshing from all the gay sparkly vampires that we've been getting lately. Based on the graphic novel, it's about a town that is preparing for the 30 days of night that is approaching very quickly.
The sheriff, Eben, finds a stranger interrupting the town's peace and he warns them of something that is preparing to invade their town. They don't know what but as soon as the sun goes down for the final time the vampires attack and kill off most of the townspeople leaving very few survivors.
What follows is a very good good movie. I like the characters except the annoying little brother. He was my least favorite character, I hated him. But other than him the cast was good. Plenty of blood to go around and had some very creepy moments, one involving a certain little girl.
If you're tired of seeing sparkly vampires then I highly recommend this movie to you, the reader of this review, if their is any. Who knows? I give this movie 4/5. Make sure you check my other reviews for horror movies up on here.
I haven't done many reviews considering I've only been reviewing for two days.
