When the month of no sun rolls around once again in Alaska, those who can't handle it say their goodbyes as they get ready to leave for the month. And everything seems normal until an ominous stranger comes into town right around the time several acts of vandalism occur. But things get worse when the sun goes down, a pack of ravenous vampires tear through the town killing everyone who crosses their path.
This film adaptation from the same name graphic novel is a step away from your typical vampire movie which paints a picture of vampires as being eloquent, seductive, and sinister. These vampires have no interest in seducing their prey, but are truly a violent and ravenous horde with a constant hunger for blood. With their slightly distorted faces and black eyes, this is one of the most chilling vampire movie I have seen.
