Review of 3 Women (1977) by Chase J — 10 Mar 2008
I am absolutely mystified by this film. Shelley Duvall and Sissy Spacek are excellent as Millie and Pinky. 2 women who develop a friendship while working at a retirement home and slowly begin to take over each others identities.
The final scene will totally pull the carpet out from under you. Robert Altman's most surreal and dreamy film. If you love David Lynch's work I recommend this to you.
