Review of 3-Iron (2004) by Pedro P — 16 Jan 2008
Tied with Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring as my favourite Kim Ki-duk film. A quiet, mysterious, sporadically violent tale of love on the run that gradually turns into something spooky, poetic and ultimately sublime.
So lyrical in its wordlessness that it's practically a dance piece. The kind of film that just doesn't belong to this Universe.
