Review of 3 Days to Kill (2014) by Ian G — 17 May 2014
Equal parts Benson eurotrash action thriller and domestic family drama that incorporates the Liam Neeson grizzled senior taking on one last assignment in the depths of winter, Kevin Costner plays an ailing member of the CIA who is the only one who knows the visual identity of the most wanted man in the world and rather than bein gallowed to live his final months in peace to reaquaint with his estranged family Amber Heard forces him back with the promise of a miracle cure for his brain cancer.
Silliness meets heart, Costner is the only reason along with good chemistry with Connie Nelson and Hailee Steinfield that you stay along for the ride, if it wasnt for that remainder bin it is. But manages to rise just about that.
