Review of 3 Days to Kill (2014) by Joe C — 02 Jan 2015

I decided to sit down and watch this because I genuinely enjoy Kevin Costner films usually. Overall, I didnt like it. Its entertaining, and has its moments. I like when the person you dont suspect to be badass, has the ability to do so through movie magic.

First off, if Amber Heard is going to be billed as this badass Femme Fatale, then why the opening scene of her complete vulnerability where she gets her assignment, why not open directly with her involvement in this underground french world where she does what she wants and kills who she wants, that wouldve been better for her character.

I got annoyed with Ethan after the 4th headache and he magically finds vodka, or something like that. Ill just say Im considerably let down by something that comes from McG who was good at action 10 years ago and Luc Besson who is responsible for some of the greatest tales of all time.
