Beautifully shot, but very disappointing for me. There was hardly any character development. I can understand that Fresnadillo put forth a good effort in terms style, thrills, and chills (Also one of the best opening scenes I've seen in a film this year).
But the pacing of the film was all wrong. He tried to cram so much into the beginning that the movie all of a sudden had to pick up the pace to keep the viewers interested. Sorry to say, I really wanted to like it.
