This sequel does not compare to the original, 28 days later. 28 weeks later is more comparable to the resident evils, where gore, action and thrills are amped up at the cost of plot quality, acting quality and story-line.
With barely anything new to bring to the table, this movie lacks in questioning profound qualms amongst humans. It is clear Danny Boyle had nothing to do with this movie since it is shockingly below average.
