Review of 28 Weeks Later (2007) by Steven J — 06 Jul 2012
A subpar sequel to an a genre classic film, that affirms that this is no way needs to be a franchise. While exec produced by two of the 3 people who kade the first amazing, it never really lives up to any sort of potential.
The handicam work is annoying, the ensemble having zero interesting characters despite Renners best efforts, and a dad zombie who breaks all the established rules of the universe. The thru storyline is full of gaping plot holes and logic flaws, as well as just being sigh inducing.
A flat effort that would've been better never made.
