Review of 28 Weeks Later (2007) by Alan V — 02 Nov 2013
Three point five stars really it is entirely un original basically and lacks all of the things which make the original great while having much that the first brilliantly lacked that being said it is a well made high concept big budget affair you could compare it to alien and aliens except that since Cameron made aliens it completely worked whereas this one has some stupidity stereotypes and generic stuff which Cameron miraculously always avoids nobody else can do that anyway 28 days later is a unique amazing classic which doesn't appeal only to apocalypse type viewers whereas the sequel not made by Danny Boyle proves yet again the power and importance of a director's vision if you're not into zombies and military stuff skip this one it is annoying yet believable the annoying presence of the US military and Jeremy Renner does that so well.
.. Was that dude military before being an action movie star or what.
