Intense would be the main word I'd use to sum up this movie. A fantastic follow-up to 28 Days Later with even more action and gore for horror fans to chew on. The characters aren't quite as well drawn out this time around and the film contains one of my major pet peeves: stupid kids doing stupid things.
It's hard to feel sympathetic for the kids when everything in the movie is their fault. Never-the-less I was sweating buckets and glued to the screen the entire time. It moves along at such a fast pace you'll barely have time to catch your breath.
Terrifying, emotional, suspenseful, blood soaked....this is a film you won't soon forget, and I welcome the inevitable next chapter with my open infected arms.
