Review of 28 Days Later (2002) by Mark M — 17 Apr 2012
This movie is terrifyingly human. The speed at which the Rage zombies turn causes the survivors in this movie to be portrayed as even more animal, on top of the regular desperation of post-apocalyptic films.
The lightning speed at which the characters put down former friends in addition to only having melee weapons on hand (in Great Britain civilians can't own firearms) is simply brutal! The scariest and most brilliant part about this movie is how the differences between the humans and the infected start to become less and less apparent.
