Review of 28 Days Later (2002) by David W — 25 Dec 2012
28 Days Later more than anything reminded me of the old movie Omega Man. The actors do convince you that they think they're among the last people on Earth (or at least England). Possibly the most interesting thing that happens is right at the beginning when the eco-terrorists unwittingly and rather stupidly release the epidemic onto themselves and thus humanity.
It has its moments that raise it above the level of schlock, but there's a sense of been there, done that about it all. There's better zombie movies.
