Ok I just watched this film in 2013 when it was on the tele. A decent enough film, gritty etc. But come on: much of it is a total unashamed rip-off of Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham. Guy wakes up in a deserted hospital to find civilisation collapse. Finds a girl. Ends up at a house run by a military guy - who even had the same orange hair as out of Day of the Triffids!
A decent enough film but totally unoriginal. Shame on you Mr Boyle I thought you were better than that.
