Review of 28 Days Later (2002) by Dan M — 15 Oct 2013
A wonderfully terrifying and disturbing adventure into the land of "what ifs" that seems all too plausible. Great character development, just the right amount of suspense, and fantastic scene design.
The film errs in its concluding events, a seeming diversion from its beginning. A much more suitable finding in Manchester would help. Violent and gory, this viral outbreak flick (not a zombie movie) will leave you wondering if its time to update your vaccines.
While some of the gore is a bit superfluous, 28 Days Later is an enjoyable movie for those with tough stomachs. Rent it and buy it if this type of thing is up your alley.
