Danny Boyle treats the zombie genre in serious fashion and shows us how it would really be like if an epidemic like this happened. That's what's so frightening about 28 Days Laters, its realness.
This is one of the most frightening horror movies I've ever seen. The zombies here aren't slow and cheesy. They're fast and rabid. What a memorable movie.
