Really simple but really beautiful. When I was a teenager my internet friend suggested this film to me and it was like a secret thing I'd found and watched over and over. I've lost some (all) objectivity and yeah it falls back on sexist tropes and there's some three act structure with an appropriate ending but look at those shots.
I actually care about these characters. Danny Boyle was still really good when he made this.
