Review of 28 Days (2000) by Dave H — 09 Mar 2009
This is one of Bullock's better roles, and certainly one of her most grown up performances. And that is a shame, because I think that she is actually a decent actor. While she will have her devoted fans, the one thing that this film might not benefit from is her penchant for middle of the road fare.
That being said, 28 Days stands out as a feel good drama with a decent emotional core. And it's an engaging look at one girls journey through rehab.
