Review of 28 Days (2000) by Roni F — 14 Jul 2012
This is OK viewing for post-rehab inmates who want to indulge and feel good about their achievement, and Bullock delivers a solid performance, but this is certainly not going to educate or inspire anyone to make the big leap.
This is due, in part, to a lack of subject research, but also to a lack of motivation to give this serious subject justice. It ends up minimising the plight, the horror, the pain that dependants go through.
This is criminal, and for that reason, 28 Days belongs at the back of your collection shelf.
