Review of 28 Days (2000) by Benjamin B — 17 Jul 2010
It really is a shame that this movie slipped under the radar. Sandra Bullock did a wonderful job portraying her character (a pill-popping alcoholic whose antics are destroying her life).
Since this film deals with overcoming drug addiction, it maintains a serious atmosphere for the majority of the movie. Thus, I wouldn't really recommend this for young children.
I found the ending to be powerful and sufficient; it did a nice job of wrapping up the story.
