Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Marnie Z — 22 Oct 2010
I saw this movie in the theatre, being neither a Ed Norton nor a Spike Lee fan at the time. By the time I left I was most decidedly a fan of Norton and gave other of Lee's offerings a try, none quite holding up to the expectation set by 25th Hour.
I enjoyed the character depth and the overall tone of the film and even now years later have no problem sitting down to watch it again, never dosing off finding myself bored. Truly one of the best movies of the 2000's in my opinion.
