Review of 25th Hour (2002) by Brenda H — 16 Jan 2009
The last scene was filmed at my dad's bar: Mando's Bar, in Elgin, Texas. It was very exciting to be standing close to Spike Lee, Edward Norton, Barry, and the rest of the cast. They were very nice and pleasant to be around.
Spike, so graciously, allowed my two brothers, husband, dad and myself to be a part of the final scene. Although it took about 9 hours to finally get it right, it was all worth it! We were on the big screen for about one minute, but how many people can say they stood close to Spike Lee and Edward Norton! Not too many =) It was quite the experience! One that we'll never forget!!
