It's about fighting an internal battle with yourself over the things you've done and the choices you've made. It's about coming to terms with who you are and accepting the inevitable. It's about putting a strain on the people around you because of what you've done.
And ultimately, it's about having the choice to start over. This is without a doubt in my mind one of Spike Lee's best joints.
