Review of 24 Hour Party People (2002) by Jim H — 24 Feb 2008

I didnt make it through the whole thing. mostly because it made me want to play guitar so I quit watching and went and did that. anyway what the hell was ian curtis' problem? watching this made me remember why I started to hate going to shows and watching pretentious assholes pretend they are being groundbreaking with their band while scenesters literally stand around trying to look cool. this was the 70s, how has it not gotten old yet? anyway I have no respect for people that over-dramatize their lives. get over yourself. I love new order because they are all about getting over whatever it is that joy division was.

Although by no means did I hate this movie, I thought it was pretty entertaining from what I saw. but I kinda doubt i'll ever finish it.
