Excellent British biopic of the 1970s-1990s Manchester music scene. Steve Coogan gives an excellent performance as Tony Wilson, the central character and now late Manchester TV/music mogul. You can see that his Alan Partridge character was losely based on Wilson.
Every time I watch the movie I spot another cameo! Last night it was Simon Pegg, the other week Rob Brydon. Peter Kay, John Simm and Ralph Little make appearances along with the real Anthony H. Wilson (now died). Even Terry Duckworth off Corrie (Nigel Pivaro) is in the film.
