Review of 2:37 (2006) by Andrew P — 06 Jun 2007
A brilliant film by a talented young debut director. The backstory of the director alone gives you incredible insight into the film's subject matter and the rationale behind it. Great cinematography and a talented, convincing cast really bring this movie to the cream of its genre.
Despite its sometimes grizzly subject matter, the experiences in the film seem to resonate, in specific forms, with a wide audience. A poignant and pithy piece of art.
