Review of 2:37 (2006) by David B — 26 May 2008
I found a film that dealt with teenagers in an adult world interesting, especially with everything happening in regards to Bill Henson at the moment. It's naive to say things like "kids should be allowed to be kids" (thanks Mr Rudd) when a lot of the time kids are doing everything they can to not be kids.
This is a good representation of modern kidulthood. Unfortunately as it film, it looked a bit amateur - predictable storyline, trite dialogue (but then again, they are teenagers), overdone flash forwards - but it is definitely worth watching.
