For me its an instant classic buddy film. Im positive it will be remembered in 20 years, I hope so. Almost all of the jokes worked, loved the bromance and the chemistry. Ice cube was hilarious in every bit.
Sure the plot is very simple to follow, and the characters doesnt develop much, but this movie qchievies what he wants- to be a good comedy action buddy movie- and its funny as hell. Because its so self aware and doesnt take itself seriously, 22 is free to deliver jokes without being much concerned about the reaction of the audience.
