Ridiculous and they know it. 22 Jump Street is an oxymoron - a very intelligent, stupid film. Riffing on cash-in sequels, which this clearly is, they cram in so many in-references it almost makes your head hurt.
Yet this self-referential humour makes the absurd plot even funnier. In fact it's possibly the wittiest comedy of the year. Don't know quite how they pulled this off, but well done boys!
