Review of 22 Jump Street (2014) by Ben H — 07 Nov 2015
Given the reviews, I was thinking this movie would be far and away superior to its predecessor. Instead it's a solid, unremarkable comedy with moments of brilliance, but with a ratio of jokes that miss more than they hit.
I think tighter editing could have fixed a lot of these problems, but it feels like they wanted to give more characters time to shine (especially Tatum, who has been flanderized in this entry).
