For being a sequel of what I had found to be an already pretty funny movie, I had sort of expected this one to be a flop. Rarely do I enjoy sequels, but this one was great. Same humor from 21 Jump Street, this time with small added twists.
Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are really the perfect couple and absolutely make this movie the hilarious thing that it is.
Don't expect this to be anything like the old series. This is a completely modernized and new version of the old 21 Jump Street. I like that they took it to a new direction and made the film more their own as opposed to just throwing another remake of an old movie or series at us.
I definitely recommend watching this. Especially if you're in the mood for the sort of feel good comedy that this is.
