I was temped to give this movie a 7/10, but in the end it's all funny, well done, and is the perfect film to watch with your friends. The action is very amusing, although kinda dumb at times but succeeds at what it it sets out to do.
The comedy is good, sometimes too much and immature, but still makes you laugh and satisfied. However I do think the first movie is funnier. The first half hour is fast paced, trying to cover a lot in less time so the main part of the film could begin.
In that respect it's similar to the first film, but when the film slows down and gets some depth it really gets good. The sqruipt is about the same as the first one, decent, and contains plenty of references to 21 Jump Street.
Overall good movie, fast paced, full of parties, awkward moments and conversations, and chases. However the first movie is still the better filmin my opinion, this one is more or less a copy of the first, and it is even said in the film that the goal is to do everything they did in the first movie, which is exactly what they did.
