Crude, crass humour fail to mask the shortcomings of this loud Hollywood reboot that see's Tatum (G.I. Joe, Magic Mike) and Jonah Hill (22 Jump Street) lead a group of youthful undercover cops as they infiltrate US high schools and root out drug dealers.
The highlight is the great cameo by original series star Johnny Depp.
