Review of 21 Jump Street (2012) by Caz H — 28 Jan 2015
A winning mix of humour, action, personal growth and sentiment: completely enjoyable. I actually found myself in borderline hysterics at a few moments, even if a few others were a bit much. The relationship between the two leads was well pitched, with enough angst and anxiety on both sides.
It did find it to all suddenly wrap up very neatly at the end but it felt mostly satisfying. I also found some of the smaller roles very enjoyable: both Jake Johnson and Chris Parnell.
