Review of 21 Grams (2003) by Ela T — 07 Aug 2009
21 grams is the weight of the hummingbird, a chocolate bar, but also the weight loss when someone dies. But this is not the central theme of the film. It is about to continue to live in spite of so much pain, despite all the mistakes.
Past and future mingle making the film even more interesting. It may seem a simple subject but the direction makes all the difference. The interpretations of the trio Naomi, Sean and Benício complete the recipe for a great movie.
