Middle America. Un ex malavitoso Jack Jordan torna a casa in macchina per la festa del suo compleanno. Troppo veloce in una curva investe e uccide un padre con le sue 2 bambine. Nonostante la sua sofferenza, Cristina concede il dono del cuore di suo marito. Il felice beneficiario di questo dono, Paul rinasce una seconda volta e si allontana da sua moglie per andare alla ricerca della donna che il suo nuovo cuore aveva amato fino all'incidente.

Film davvero brutto, che cerca invano, con la pioggia sul bagnaro, la lacrima dello spettatore ma qui tutto è sbagliato. La gestione dei tempi, la sceneggiatura.
