Easy 8 for this film which takes place in Santa Barbara in 1979. Marvelous ensemble cast headed by Benning. Funny and serious in unpredictable ways. Written and directed by a guy it's unapologetically feminist.
Frankly I'm not often keen on indie films but mostly I loved how this one surprised me. And the music is great.
