Review of 20th Century Women (2016) by Bob K — 21 Jan 2017
The beginning of this movie felt like nothing more than a series of awkward moments and conversations, but after Annette Bening asks Elle Fanning and Greta Gerwig to help raise her son, it all gelled nicely.
Annette gets more than she bargained for, but nothing more than she can absorb. The movie found its footing then, and there manages to be some conflict, but with no antagonist.
