Review of 20th Century Women (2016) by Samantha L — 02 Feb 2017
The fact this was ignored by the oscars I can only attribute to poor marketing and the fact it deals w women's issues in a raw beautiful but unairbrushingly refreshing way. I will concede that about 15 minutes of editing would have done this film a service but its stellar acting, brilliant script and maestro like directing should have assured this film be included in all award contention.
It is actually one of the most important movies of the decade.
