Outstanding performances, an intriguing story and heartfelt moments from the young and old make 20th Century Women a very interesting period piece. A struggle in the youth is a struggle in the elder, which director Mike Mills manages to portray beautifully.
Billy Crudup and Greta Gerwig are the standout characters, and the interaction of the whole cast is just great. A relevant yet nostalgic piece of timeless cinema.
