Review of 2046 (2004) by Melissa A — 30 Jun 2008
Although quite lengthy, as everyone has mentioned, the cinematography speaks for itself here. Many emotions were shown so deeply through the characters especially the depths of total despair. I liked the sci-fi elements to the story and the androids had a presence that seemed more real than mechanical in certain scenes.
For a first time viewing of Kar Wai Wong's work, i'm looking forward to watching other movies directed by him.
