Review is pending, but in summation: a messy, romantic concoction of ambitious concepts and simple ideas that is as technically impressive as it is emotionally investing. Very, very good. I don't know if it's better than In The Mood For Love (it probably isn't), but it's certainly a dramatic departure from its restrained tone.
