A difficult film to review... The director's style and method were phenomenal. Acting was superb; Faye Wong is absolutely impressive (and that's not just because of her stunning beauty).
But... there was a little something missing. I think, because of the muted acting (good, muted acting btw) there wasn't much of a connection with the characters.
It is without a doubt, worth a watch.
