I actually liked "In The Mood For Love" more, this one was more angsty and random, and I don't like how Kar-wai changed Chow's character, he was a decent man and the ending he did on ITMFL was a perfect closure, I don't see that transformation happening..
Christopher Doyle's cinematography was SUPERB, I would give this movie a perfect score just for the cinematography and the visual aspects, including the art direction and the custom designs, even the rather cheap CG.
The main musical theme was more intense than ITMFL's, and the music score fit the movie perfectly.
