Review of 2046 (2004) by Adriano B — 25 Oct 2011
Wong Kar Wau revisits his classic "In the mood for love", and it's a punch in the groin - in a good sense. He mutates the immaculate, intimate hero of the first flick, and make him the ulti-male asshole, like if Ghandhi had gone nuclear device.
But, shocking effect aside, the matter is the same: the mistery of solitude, time, human relationship and Hong Kong destiny.
