The ultimate message of this movie is absolutely horrendus . The spirit of human exploration only survives to explore the universe in an AI, that just happens to be the exterminator of all human life. The glory sceen at the end is jrather frightful if all the other AI's also were required to execute perfect genocides in order to transcend.
