Review of 2019: After the Fall of New York (1983) by Gus S — 20 May 2008

Italian film about a post-nuclear holocaust world in which rival gangs of survivors fight each other for various reasons. Sound familiar? Even though that was the plot of dozens of action movies in the 80s, this one has a particularly low budget compared to its clones.

It does, however, manage to keep its story going with some moderately entertaining action and some characters which are a little more developed than most b-movie personalities. Don't waste your time though, just rent Mad Max.
