Review of 2019: After the Fall of New York (1983) by Sgt. C — 28 Mar 2014
Part of the golden age of Italian post-apocalyptic films; a must-see for fans of post-apocalypse cinema. This one has all the required elements: souped up vehicles, roving gangs/mutants, filmed in a quarry, shoulder pads, synth music, food shortage and Fred Williamson.
Some bizarre components but familiarity with the genre should dissipate those concerns.
