Review of 2016: Obama's America (2012) by Jacqui B — 14 Sep 2012
An important approach to any voting season is to try to stay impartial, unbiased, and open-minded when collecting information on a topic.
I've pointedly kept myself out of political debates and social media pages that are outwardly party-related for the past year so that I could gather facts about our current leader and his adversary when voting season arrived.
This movie was well-produced in that it portrayed the writer's OPINION of Barrack Obama as a man. It included plenty of supporting FACTS that further promote said opinion. It was very moving and I definitely reacted emotionally to some moments in the film. It gave me more to consider, more questions to ask, and more reasons to pray for our country. For, no matter who ends up in The Big Chair this November, there are some big wheels already in motion that need to be addressed immediately on levels of humanitarian philosophy, when we look toward our future as a global community. I encourage everyone to take a look at this movie, not as an endorsement of all right-wing activity or even as proof that President Obama is not the right choice at this time. But, simply, as a way to see today's world as it's unfolding through the eyes of an Americanised immigrant who followed one of many paths and ultimately became a passionate author.
